ABOUT US
World Youth Wave (WYW) is a youth, non-profit, and non-governmental organization, established in 2005 with the idea of connecting young people on the local and global level, through their cooperation and development.
World Youth Wave encourages young people to learn and develop themselves, spread knowledge and experiences, and contribute to society. The main idea of the organization is giving young people an opportunity to reach their potential by expressing their beliefs and ideas, while associating with their peers on the local and global level through various workshops and educational content.
Key objectives of World Youth Wave are: encouragement and promotion of student and youth projects and ideas, enhancement of the cooperation between the national and foreign students, and young people, encouragement of the closer regional collaboration and ethnic dialogue between non-governmental organizations in different countries, promotion of mutual understanding and partnership, as well as the fight against xenophobia, prejudice, racism, and all that through the process of intensive intercultural exchange.
The main projects of the organization are: ISWiB – International Student Week in Belgrade, Local Festival – under the name Destigmatize Locally for 2021, Volunteering Fair, and many more.
From 2010, World Youth Wave has been a proud owner of the Star of Belgrade Award, which is given to organizations with best projects in the civil sector by the Agency for European Integrations and Cooperation with Organizations.

Establishing equality between different ethnic and social groups and solving all current global problems, especially those concerning young people.
MISSION
Our mission is to give youth the opportunity to learn about diversity and accept it, through working together on current social issues that are addressed and worked on in our multicultural workshops and festivals.
